Refund Policy
Effective Date: 13 September 2026 · Version 2.0

1. About this policy
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for services provided by WonderMaple Inc. (o/a Asia Pathway). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and any Service Agreement you enter into with us. Where a signed Service Agreement says something different about a particular service, that Service Agreement applies. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
2. We do not collect tuition or program fees
Tuition, program fees, deposits and other charges owed to a university or partner institution are paid by you directly to that institution. These funds do not pass through, and are never held by, WonderMaple Inc. Any refund of tuition or program fees is governed entirely by the institution's own refund policy; we have no authority to grant, withhold or vary such a refund, and we are not responsible for an institution's decision. If you need a tuition refund, you must request it from the institution.
3. Third-party services
Accommodation, insurance, flights and other services provided by third parties are supplied under a separate contract between you and that provider, and any refund is governed by that provider's own terms. We are not a party to those contracts and do not control their refunds.
4. Fees you pay us for our services
Some of our services are provided at no charge. Where you request and pay for a service we provide (for example, application assistance or advisory services), the fee is for the professional work we perform and is earned as that work is carried out. Except where this policy, your Service Agreement, or applicable law provides otherwise, fees for services we have already performed are non-refundable, because the value has already been delivered. Where you have paid in advance for a service we have not yet started, you may cancel and receive a refund of the amount that relates to work not yet done, less any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf and any non-recoverable payment-processing fees.
5. Outcomes and changes of mind
Because our fees are for the work we perform and not for any particular result, a refusal of admission, a refusal or delay of a visa, the withdrawal of a scholarship, or a change in your own circumstances does not by itself entitle you to a refund of fees for work already done. How fees are treated in these situations, including in the case of a visa refusal, is set out in your Service Agreement before you pay. If no Service Agreement addresses the point, we will deal with the request reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
6. Your statutory cancellation rights
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within a short cooling-off period under the law that applies to you. Where such a right applies and you have not yet asked us to begin the service during that period, we will refund amounts you have paid for work not yet performed. Where you ask us to begin work during the cooling-off period, we may retain an amount reflecting the work done up to the point you cancel. These rights are in addition to anything else in this policy, and nothing here removes a right you cannot lawfully waive.
7. How refunds are paid
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, in the currency of the original payment. We are not responsible for exchange-rate differences between the date you paid and the date of refund, or for fees charged by your bank or card issuer. Payment-processing fees are generally non-recoverable and may be deducted from a refund where permitted by law.
8. Chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us at [email protected] before starting a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, and we will try to resolve it quickly. Starting a chargeback without first contacting us, or in respect of services already properly provided, may result in suspension of your account while the matter is investigated.
9. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your name, the service purchased, the date of payment, and the reason for your request. We will acknowledge within five business days and aim to decide within thirty days, and we will explain our decision.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect when you paid for a service is the version that applies to that purchase. Every version carries an effective date, and the current version is posted on the Platform.
